The way Logan McCann wrapped up his high school football career perfectly summed up the type of player he was for Mater Dei in Evansville, IN.
After breaking his leg in the second playoff game for the Wildcats, McCann was able to get back on the field for the final two plays of the state championship game.
“He fought hard and did everything he could to get back,” Mater Dei Head Coach Mike Goebel said. “He led the team throughout. He never missed a practice; he was there on the sideline coaching when the team hit the field. Every game after that, he was leading the team on crutches.”
